Kings! Queens! Princesses! Princes! A ROYAL is the recipient of a DIVINE RIGHT or a ROYAL BOON abilities from a time very, very long ago. These abilities are written in their DNA, but only KINGS and QUEENS can give them to others.
ROYALS can do all sorts of amazing things. Some of them can fly. Some of them can make it snow. Some of them can breathe fire. Some of them can get lost in the shadows — oh, dear. Whose job is it to find that one?
A very special gift from a KING or QUEEN to a PRINCE or PRINCESS. Lovely, isn't it? They can share their powers with whomever they choose — or their children, if they have them. Aw!

THE COURT is the organization manages all known ROYALS in the TOWER! They make sure they have homes and help with their powers, and their own special school!
...though, sometimes, I think it must be a little lonely, separated from the rest of the population like that...
This is fun. THE ORDER is a very mysterious organization that often acts as special security for both THE COURT, and the ARCHIVE, though it is a sovereign body equal to both.
Members of THE ORDER are those who, for whatever reasons, are not direct members of THE COURT — but very well-versed in be able to contain, and counter the special powers ROYAL possesses.
Oh, my. That's a bit alarming. Whyever would someone need to do that?
Aaaand rounding it up, here is number three of the great organizations that run the TOWER! The ARCHIVES! A research/archival division managed by one of the most powerful remaining servers on the planet, the Archives have existed since the building of the TOWER, their job is to catalogue and store all magic from the old world, including that which is written in the DNA of the royal court!
You might call them the most high-powered bookworms in the world! Ahaha, but they might object to that.
The top half of the TOWER, which rises high and proud above the great oceans! THE IVORY RECTORY is the half of the tower where most members of the TOWER's elite and THE COURT call home. It's the source of all the industry that is required to exist above the surface level. You can find amazing views and more amazing parks up here!

The bottom half of the TOWER. The one, the only, the original! THE EBONY REVERSE and its levels is the location of all of the thickest walls and most powerful engines that once kept the TOWER going in harder times. Nowadays its the source of most manufacturing industries in the TOWER, as well as 85% of the general population, owing of course to its most expansive residential levels.
It's a little more crowded, but a lot more lively — especially for those lonely PRINCES and PRINCESSES up in the Ivories, longing for a little bit of real life, down below.... romantic, no?
Catch all term for the ark which sustained a good chunk of the population after the world was flooded so many thousands of years ago. A great, man-made life support system built by an ancient people in ages past, the TOWER stood against the waves and the storms, preserving humanity and its knowledge deep within its very expansive walls and airlocks.
Over time it rooted and grew, levels expanding upwards as the seas calmed. Now its a manmade island in its own right! Though its original function was as the core of the ARCHIVES, and the storage of human knowledge from the old world that they so jealously guard. Pretty amazing, if you ask me.
But I just have to wonder... when does it stop being a life preserve, and start becoming a prison?
